[Return to Home Page] (July 2003) Feedback on 'My Aussiecon 3'Lucy Schmeidler (June 2000) LUCY SCHMEIDLER writes (June 2000): Re your Aussiecon 3: You mention late night filking in a New York fan's room. Would you mind giving me a name, as it's almost certainly someone I know? I reply (August 2000): "You mention late night filking in a New York fan's room. Would you mind giving me a name as it is almost certainly someone I know?" [OZ SF Fan #11] Alas Lucy the name has slipped from my mind or I would have given it. (I hate when this happens.) The New York fan is a literary editor, looks a bit like Kotter (from "Welcome Back Kotter") and has a nifty digital recording device. [Does that help?] I hope that we can meet at Aussiecon IV. (I'll probably have a mobile phone/Internet device by then - it would be easy to contact me about my whereabouts.) BILL WRIGHT writes (June 2000): You were indeed a trufan at Aussiecon Three, meeting people and filking the nights away. Everyone makes their own fun at conventions. You seem to have done just that. JEANNE MEALY writes (June 2000): It is difficult to sum up one's experiences at a worldcon, isn't it? You did get to a variety of programming. I'm not a filker, though I like some of the songs. You quoted some pretty amusing titles. Copyright © 2003 by Michael F. Green and others. All rights reserved. Last Updated: 14 September 2003 |
